Darrius Sessoms pleaded guilty to first degree murder and sentenced to LIFE in prison in a Wilson County courtroom this morning.

Today’s plea deal strikes the death penalty the prosecutors were seeking

Cannon Hinnant was riding his bike outside his home on Archers Road in Wilson when he was shot in the head back in 2020.  

Hinnant’s two sisters, ages 8 and 7, saw their brother get shot.
