CATALYTIC CONVERTERS STOLEN OFF VEHICLES IN ROCKY MOUNT

Catalytic Converters have become a hot commodity for thieves over the last year.

More and more are being stolen right off of vehicles.

On 10/7 2 Catalytic Converters were stolen off of vehicles on the 900 Block of Benvenue Rd

On 10/11 a Catalytic Converter was stolen off of a vehicle on the 1300 Block of E Raleigh Blvd.

Studies have shown that if you own a Prius it is a bigger target for Converter thieves. However, the larcenies in Rocky Mount did not involve a Prius

Both cases in the incidents are marked "Inactive" by RMPD.
