Murder of Nashville, NC barber is the only unsolved murder for Nash County Sheriff's Office.

Randy Colegrove 53, was killed during a home invasion on Oct. 21, 2017. Around 930AM Nash County Deputies received a call of suspicious activity on the 3500 block of N.C. 58 near Viverette Road just outside Nashville. When they arrived they found Colegrove with a gunshot wound. He was found lying about 100+ yards from the residence surrounded by dense woods and was pronounced dead on the scene.


Law Enforcement believes that he was killed the night before.


Witnesses heard gunshots around 9PM-10PM.


Colegrove was a barber and had a shop for many years on West Cross St in Nashville. He grew up on Boddie Street in Nashville.
