RMPD INVESTIGATING TWO ARSON CASES IN 24-HOURS, ONE BLOCK APART

On 5/11/2021 around midnight the fire and police department received a call about a 2007 tan Chevy Tahoe on fire on the 400 block of N Tillery St, Rocky Mount.

On 5/12/2021 around 11pm the fire and police department responded to a residence on fire on the 800 block of Star St, Rocky Mount.

Police investigated both cases and ruled both Arson.

The locations are only a block apart.
