On 11/28/2019, Tammy was reported missing by her sister (Christy Ruffin) who had last spoken to Tammy by phone on 11/23/2019. Tammy has not contacted anyone in her family since that time namely her sister Christy or her younger brother Horace who she maintains almost daily contact. There have been no transactions on Tammy’s EBT card since 11/23/2019 nor has there been any activity on Tammy’s social media which is unusual as Facebook has been one of Tammy’s primary ways of communication. Tammy was last spoken to by her sister (Christy Ruffin) on 11/23/19 at 11:02pm. Tammy was using the cell phone of D. Santos whom she had recently started staying with at 806 Elvie St. in Wilson. Santos advised shortly after midnight Tammy left with P. Highsmith to go to a local motel, the Heart of Wilson (501 Nash St W).

Eventually, it has been concluded that Tammy eventually left that hotel and met up with three males and a female and has never been seen since. She was last known to be with them at a residence belonging to one of them. Supposedly, an argument ensued and she was killed. the female made a post on social media after Tammy's disappearance that was suspicious and was since deleted, however, a subpoena to Facebook can recover the deleted post.

One of the males has been arrested several times since her disappearance and is known to law enforcement.

In another twist one of the males, soon after her disappearance, took his perfectly running vehicle to the Recycling yard in Wilson and sold it to be crushed.

People were remaining tight lipped about her disappearance in the beginning however now they are talking, it is a hard secret to keep between multiple people and with up to $15,000 in reward money on the table.

The names of the individuals possibly responsible have been omitted as they are innocent until proven guilty, However, they know who they are.

Wilson Police Department is investigating this case.

TEAM COLD CASE is offering a REWARD of up to $15,000 for information leading to Tammy and an arrest of those involved in her disappearance.

Tammy's sister (Christy) is aware of the possibility of her sister being killed and just wants her home and laid to rest and justice to be served if that is the case.
